By the age of 28, Bella had already built over 17 years of experience in the fashion industry. She launched her first business venture, Modestwist, that disrupted the market and, within just nine months of launch, secured partnerships with major retailers including Zalando, ASOS, and Walmart.
The brand's rapid growth attracted venture capital interest and earned features in Forbes and Grazia, alongside recognition from Alibaba, Meta, and the Global Islamic Economy Report. Despite this success, Bella chose to turn down investment opportunities to pursue a bigger vision. She founded NBG, connecting businesses directly with verified offline Turkish apparel suppliers.
In under 14 months, she built a community of more than 59,000 importers, retailers, and entrepreneurs. Now, Bella is preparing to launch SourceToptan in 2026 her most ambitious venture to date, a B2B marketplace connecting businesses directly with verified Turkish apparel suppliers and modernising the way the world sources from Türkiye.
Bella has mentored more than 170 startups worldwide, helping founders transform ideas into scalable businesses through practical strategy, execution, and growth.
